Put On Christ

¹¹ Besides this, since you know the time, it is already the hour^(A) for you^[a] to wake up from sleep,^(B) because now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.^{(C) 12} The night is nearly over, and the day is near;^(D) so let us discard the deeds of darkness^(E) and put on the armor of light.^(F)

²⁶ Otherwise, he would have had to suffer many times since the foundation of the world. But now he has appeared one time, at the end of the ages,^(A) for the removal of sin by the sacrifice of himself.^(B)

⁸ You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.^(A)

The Last Hour

¹⁸ Children, it is the last hour.^(A) And as you have heard that antichrist^(B) is coming, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last hour.

³ Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy,^(A) and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep^[a] what is written in it, because the time is near.
